The Junction City Youth Clinic (JCYC) is designed to meet the needs of Geary County youth who attend school with USD 475 and St. Xavier's or are residents between the ages of 0 and 21. It offers primary health care by a nurse practitioner. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is available for limited services when the nurse practicioner is unavailable.

Services provided to Geary County youth include physical exams for sports and school activities, health screenings for contagious diseases and treatment for most minor illnesses as well as counseling and referral services. Students may enroll for health services by submitting a signed JCYC parental consent form which you can obtain from our flyers or at the JCYC.

No student will be denied services because of an inability to pay. Students or their parents will not be billed for any services received. However, if a student is referred to care to another provider, arrangements must be made for any additional costs. Prescriptions may be given for medications not stocked at JCYC. Prescriptions may be filled at Wal-Mart, Dillon's, Fort Riley or the pharmacy of your choice.

A full description of services is available in the JCYC pamphlet or call JCYC for information (785-762-5022).
