Education and Programs
If you are looking for a program about child safety for your group or organization, please do not hesitate to contact Melody Saxton. She is more than willing to come to your meeting and provide education on a variety of topics about child safety.
Fire Prevention
Geary County SafeKids is currently collaborating with the fire departments of Junction City and Grandview Plaza to put smoke detectors in homes where there are children. To receive free smoke detectors, you must own your own home. Please call your local fire departments to set an appointment for a fireman to come to your home and install the smoke detectors.
